Harry Kane breaks Champions League record against Juventus

Spurs have secured a 2-2 away draw with goals from Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane, the latter's goal meaning a new Champions League record.

Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur drew the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie on Tuesday. Spurs recovered from conceding twice in the opening nine minutes to secure a 2-2 away draw with goals from Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane with the London club's top marksman achieving a new Champions League record.

Harry Kane is known as one of the best strikers in the world. The British player is the current top scorer of the Premier League with 23 goals and second in the Champions League with seven, behind Cristiano Ronaldo who has hit the back of the net nine times so far.

In addition, Harry Kane broke a Champions League record against Juventus with his goal to halve the deficit on the night. According to @2010MisterChip, Tottenham's striker became the fastest player to score nine goals in European Cup history doing it in his first nine games in the competition. Kane has overtaken the record of Simone Inzaghi, who needed 10 games to score his first nine goals.
